Classroom Rules
In my classroom, my students will be expected to follow these five umbrella rules that encompass the best possible behavior. Adherence to these rules will result in a positive and productive classroom environment.
-
Do your work to the best of your ability.
-
Treat others with respect.
-
Come prepared for class and ready to learn.
-
Listen and obey instructions the first time.
-
Respect our school and the materials provided to us.
These rules will be presented to the students in the form of a Class Constitution, written below, that we will recite together every morning and that will also be posted on our wall for continued reference. This repetition will help the students to consistently remember what behavior is expected of them.
Miss Holliday’s Class Constitution
“We the students of Miss Holliday’s class promise to treat each other, our school, and our belongings with respect, work to the best of our ability, come to class prepared and ready to learn, and listen and obey the first time.”
